Breast Cancer Now, UK

From October 2023 to April 2024, I was Research Impact Communications Manager at Breast Cancer Now.

​I completed a self-contained research impact project for this leading UK cancer charity. I was responsible for identifying, communicating and publicising examples of tangible impact arising from the charity’s research, alongside providing science communication support to other teams as needed. This culminated in a package of Impact Stories with associated digital content, and a plan for future impact assessment. 

REF Impact editing, QMUL

​I wrote/edited Research Excellence Framework (REF) ​case studies to demonstrate research relevance and impact for the REF2021 period for Queen Mary, University of London. As of Jan/Feb 2026 I'm supporting the university in the same way for REF2029, working on mathematics, physics, and engineering submissions.
